How I work

From idea to launch

I work across frontend, mobile, backend and cloud, from React and Expo to Node, AWS and Supabase, so one person can carry a feature all the way.

I start with the why

Before I write any code I want to know what the site or app should achieve and who will use it.

Scrum Master

I run sprint planning, standups and retrospectives, and keep everyone working from the same user stories.

Calm delivery

You get regular updates, and I say so early when scope or priorities change.

My path

How I got here

  1. 2020 – 2024

    Where it all started

    I started exploring code because I had been curious about how technology worked since childhood. Tutorials quickly turned into my own experiments, and what started as a hobby eventually became something I wanted to pursue professionally.

  2. 2024 – 2026

    Mobile app developer training

    Higher vocational education (YH) in mobile app development at Folkuniversitetet, remotely. I completed the full programme: Java, Android with Kotlin, iOS with Swift, agile methods, web apps, cloud backends, both internships (LIA) at Spelinsikt, and the degree project.

  3. 2024 – 2026

    Spelinsikt

    Mobile App Developer & Scrum Master — LIA Internship.

    • Developed calendar and profile features to support users in quitting gambling.
    • Built features for tracking gambling-free days, recovery milestones, personal reasons for quitting, and money saved by not gambling.
    • Implemented push notifications and in-app pop-ups.
    • Worked with Supabase for backend functionality and user authentication.
    • Translated Figma designs into functional app interfaces.
    • Served as Scrum Master and used Trello and Miro for task management, planning, and team collaboration.
    • Prepared and published app releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
    • Built in-app analytics with PostHog.
    • Helped onboard new developers.

    A free study platform for students. Practice the core subjects Swedish, English and maths ahead of the national exams, with a grade calculator, study planner and an AI coach for homework help.

  6. Now

    Studying backend web development

    Higher vocational education (YH) as a backend developer at Grit Academy. The programme covers agile project management, REST APIs, MySQL and PHP, DevOps, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, AI, TDD, Git, SEO and two internships (LIA). I am looking for freelance projects and a full-time role as a full-stack or mobile developer.
